Mercury will stroll between Sun and Earth. There will be a little black spot on the sun Monday. It’s the rare transit of Mercury — the fastest and closest planet to the sun — slowly crossing our radiant, life-giving star over several hours on May 9, offering humanity a chance to enjoy a natural show. You can see this rare occurrence by special sun filtered optical instrument. The so-called transit of Mercury occurs only about 13 times every century, and the next one won't take place until 2019.
This time transit will start at 20 hour 12 minute UB time and continue for 3 hour 12 minutes.
